Question 1

Read the following passage: "The human brain is remarkably adaptable, a quality known as neuroplasticity. This ability allows the brain to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. Neuroplasticity enables the brain to compensate for injury and disease and to adjust activities in response to new situations or changes in the environment. For example, if one part of the brain is damaged, other parts can sometimes take over its functions. This adaptability is particularly pronounced in children, whose brains are still developing, but it continues throughout adulthood, although to a lesser extent." What is the main idea of this passage?
