1 How long should I study for the ParaPro test? +
How long to study depends on where you start. Take a timed practice test first and plan your time around the subtest you score lower on.
2 What score do I need to pass the ParaPro Assessment? +
Passing scores are set by each state, and some states leave them to each district. Look up your state on its page; ETS also lists qualifying scores for each state. Check with your state's Department of Education or school district for specific requirements.
3 Can I use a calculator on the math section? +
The ParaPro is no longer offered. On its replacement, ParaPathways, yes: an on-screen four-function calculator is provided on the Mathematics subtest (5759), though you cannot bring your own.
4 How many times can I retake the ParaPro test? +
The ParaPro can no longer be taken, but you can retake ParaPathways: ETS allows one retake right away, and after that you wait 21 days after your most recent attempt. Ask your state whether a subtest you already passed still counts.
